This exhibition draws a parallel between the Tower of Babel and our digital age. In the biblical story, a united humanity tries to build a tower to the heavens but fails when language divides them. Today, binary code unites us, yet digital technology also creates division and instability. The sculptures—made from porcelain and copper—symbolize the tension between the ancient and the modern. Porcelain links to the earth and the past, while copper represents digital connectivity. Binary code inscriptions of the biblical text merge old and new, questioning whether our digital “tower” may also collapse under its own weight.
